TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Moving Reviews

I was charged a minimum of 4 hours for an unload. I was told the staff could help me use some of the time to build the boxed furniture. When they arrived they did a great job unloading and helping. They were told though they could not build furniture due to liability. There was about an hour I paid for an got no service but was disappointed by the miscommunication. If you can't help build stuff tell me that. If I'm going to pay for time that won't be used tell me so I can make an informed decision on who to purchase services from. I do feel taken advantage of, it affects my opinion of your integrity/reputation. For what it is worth the movers (Nick an Chase) were terrific. They couldn't apologize any more for the front office than they did. They would be the only reason I'd consider your services again. They were outstanding. Your office staff is polite and professional. They apparently though are not well informed.

Overall, we were very pleased with our experience. The only additional feedback that I had concerned one of the movers. He was very professional and polite to me, but I found him to be rude and condescending to his co-worker.

I have had good experiences with Two Men and a Truck in Indiana and Illinois. The two men I had this time were definitely the best, even though none have ever been poor. Dan and Chase were quick, friendly, and good!

Although hourly pricing could be a little more competitive, you guys win by not charging for a lot of extras - e.g. wrapping furniture (paying for amount of plastic wrap)& packing flat screens. I also liked that you have large trucks and do not necessarily cater your moves to exact truck size - I had other companies utilizing different pricing dependent on truck size - we wanted the leway to use more space if needed and to not get stuck with a truck that may not fit everything or to have to pay for two trucks and not need the second and cost of a second driver.

I feel that if your hourly rate went down even just $10 you would steal the market. Your movers did not stop and were incredibly nice. I'm glad we chose your company even with your two man crew rate being the same as other companies 3 man crew rates...although, I'd still suggest adjusting that - even to improve your Yelp reviews alone - I know of two families currently moving that chose another company for that reason alone. We moved first and I told them of our experience, but price really matters these days.

The 3 movers were all very friendly, fast, and courteous. They even moved some pieces of furniture twice for us without complaint. They did not, however, "bag" our mattress and box spring. We purchased bags, offered by our sales representative, but again, they were not used. I'm sure it was just an oversight by the movers. However, we will be requesting a refund for these two items from Two Men and a Truck.
